Restream Swag
A playful extension of the brand’s vibrant identity. Designed for both the team and loyal users, the illustration reflects Restream’s core values of creativity, connectivity, and fun. With its bold design, the swag collection brings the brand to life in a way that’s memorable, engaging, and unmistakably Restream.
The design centres around an abstract composition that cleverly incorporates key elements of the Restream identity. The squid mascot takes centre stage, surrounded by the Restream icon, video camera, and play button, subtly joined by hidden gems like the Earth and streaming symbols. Together, these elements create a dynamic visual narrative that celebrates Restream’s global impact and playful spirit.
Redefining Restream Records
The 2022 Restream Black Friday campaign wasn’t just another sale—it was a strategic effort to drive paid subscriptions while addressing a unique challenge: introducing live streaming to a broader audience beyond the gaming community, unfamiliar with its potential or Restream’s role in it.
I was in charge of every detail, from the core concept to the design execution and managing production from a third-party agency. It was thoughtfully crafted to not just highlight the discount but especially educate and inspire potential users about the power of live streaming.
The campaign was a success in customer acquisition and generated a record-breaking $505K in revenue, outperforming all previous years.
“Stand out from the crowd and get visibility” was my creative direction; centred on subtle, dark gradients, dynamic typography, and bold, overlapping imagery to reflect the unique way of standing out through streaming live videos.
Combining a UPS and a discount value made the offer irresistible while stretching Restream’s brand appeal to a broader audience.
Each asset, from paid ads to web and app banners, was tailored to maximise CTR and resonate with streamers eager to amplify their online presence.
Email Design, Done Right
Restream’s email design needed to be versatile, efficient, and consistently on-brand, but most importantly, represented a workflow in need of improvement.
I designed scalable templates and built a solid workflow to generate consistent, responsive emails efficiently, from onboarding, promotions, inspiration, case studies, to newsletters, feature updates or user engagement nudges. To streamline the process, I developed an efficient design system, ensuring every email felt cohesive while allowing for quick adaptation to any need. But design was just part of the solution.
Using Figma and a super helpful plugin, I developed a way to generate fully responsive HTML emails directly from my designs, eliminating the need for manual coding and speeding up testing from minutes to seconds.
The workflow I put in place significantly reduced production time, saved resources, and ensured pixel-perfect execution, allowing Restream to scale its email campaigns effortlessly.
Live Shopping Campaign
At Restream, I was tasked with leading the creative direction for a Facebook video campaign promoting our new Live Shopping feature — a tool designed to help eCommerce businesses connect with customers in real-time across multiple channels.
My role involved concept development, storyboard creation, and art direction — working closely with a motion designer to bring the vision to life. The creative aimed to show how Restream makes online shopping interactive and personal, turning product demos and live Q&As into immersive experiences.
The design direction merged vibrant gradients and UI-focused animations with a warm, relatable tone — reflecting the product’s versatility and ease of use. The result was a visually engaging campaign that not only increased product awareness but also helped reinforce Restream’s evolution beyond gaming into the broader eCommerce space.
